Dr. Dominique Perry Hinson (she/her) is a progressive leader, people enthusiast, and student of life. Dominique has a robust 15+ year career in People: Human Resources and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging. Dominique's education includes a Bachelor's degree in Interpersonal Communications and Cultural Studies, Master's degree in Human Resource Management, and a Doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership.
Although coaching as a business skill has been critical to the success of Dominique's career, Dominique officially became a Master Professional Certified Life Coach and started a boutique practice in 2023 where she holds the position(s) Head Coach and Chief Empowerment + Experience Officer. Additionally, Dominique is an internal professional and executive coach at her current company and a member of the International Coaching Federation. Dominique is an advocate for all things development and has specific passions for belonging, human experiences, leadership development, strategy, and friendship. In addition to work, Dominique spends her time researching and writing (book coming in 2024!), volunteering with local organizations, traveling, and spending time with loved ones + sorority sisters.
Welcome! I am excited to co-create with you! A little about me: I’m a native Texan turned Michigander, so I like to call myself a Midwestern-Southern Belle - it's a good balance! I am super friendly, but I absolutely take progress and moving forward seriously. Travel is a big passion of mine and I enjoy bootcamp style workouts. Family is very important to me; I am the oldest of four (and totally lean into this role, still). I also have passions for my community and the arts + creativity of all kinds. My beliefs:
Good leaders don't manage people, they lead people.
Laughter is good medicine. Humor can be a powerful tool.
Empathy is a major key!
